Hands #27-30: Strelitz With a Big Check-Raise

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Daniel Strelitz
Daniel Strelitz

Hand #27: Ognjen Sekularac raised it up and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #28: Shannon Shorr raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Daniel Strelitz defended the big blind. Strelitz check-called 55,000 on the {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop before both players quickly tapped the table on the {9-Clubs} turn.

The river brought the {q-Clubs} and Strelitz checked. Shorr bet 185,000, Strelitz came out of the woodworks with a sizable check-raise to about 700,000 and Shorr instantly released.

Hand #29: Arsenii Karmatckii limped the cutoff, Maria Ho made it 120,000 on the button and Karmatckii folded.

Hand #30: Strelitz raised to 60,000 on the button and got Ali Imsirovic and Sekularac along in the blinds. The {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board got checked down all the way. Imsirovic revealed {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for nines and fours, enough to win the hand.
