Swingruber Fades the Hearts; Chops

Level 55 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Sean Swingruber opened to 50,000 and Jimmy D'Ambrosio called. The {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop brought a check by D'Ambrosio and a bet worth 55,000 by Swingruber. D'Ambrosio called once, but ended up check-folding the {4-Clubs} turn.

After that, D'Ambrosio scooped the next few pots without showdown and defended against another raise to 50,000. On the {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, D'Ambrosio check-raised a bet of 65,000 by Swingruber and snap-called the shove for around 475,000.

Sean Swingruber: {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Jimmy D'Ambrosio: {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The {a-Clubs} turn provided some chop opportunities and indeed, it was the {2-Spades} river that ensured just that.

"You go all in without a redraw?" D'Ambrosio asked and Swingruber replied "it's only 20 big blinds."

D'Ambrosio Rivers Flush

Level 54 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

In a limped pot to the {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Jimmy D'Ambrosio and Sean Swingruber checked. On the {5-Clubs} turn, D'Ambrosio bet 30,000 and Swingruber called before another bet of 69,000 followed on the {a-Hearts} river.

Swingruber reluctantly called and D'Ambrosio immediately said "I got it" before turning over {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flush.

"It is the kisses. He kisses his chips, I am kissing my wife," D'Ambrosio said and headed to the rail to do exactly that before returning for the next hand.

Jimmy D'Ambrosio

Sean Swingruber raised to 45,000 from the button and Jimmy D'Ambrosio called from the big blind.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, D'Ambrosio led out for 24,000 and Swingruber called.

The turn was the {q-Clubs}, D'Ambrosio bet 43,000, Swingruber raised to 150,000 and D'Ambrosio called.

The river was the {a-Spades} and both players checked.

D'Ambrosio turned over {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines, Swingruber mucked and D'Ambrosio won the pot.

One for Each

Level 54 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Keith Lehr remains in a comfortable lead, but Jake Schindler has not turned into push or fold mode yet with around 20 big blinds in the new level.

Schindler min-raised to 40,000 and Lehr called. Both ended up checking through the {j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Lehr showed a king. Schindler had that beat with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and won the pot.

The next limped pot was checked to the {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds} river, on which Schindler overbet for 80,000 to claim the pot uncontested.

Lehr Shows a Deuce

Level 54 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Jake Schindler limped in on the button and Keith Lehr checked his option. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Lehr led out for 20,000. Schindler called and the {2-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Lehr checked this time and Schindler tossed in a bet of 60,000. Lehr check-raised to 160,000 which confused Schindler. He looked down at his cards as if they were marked and Lehr knew what he had before mucking.

Lehr showed {4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Schindler nodded, saying that Lehr held the best hand.

Swingruber Back in the Lead

Level 53 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Joining the action on the {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, Sean Swingruber bet 100,000 and Jimmy D'Ambrosio called to see the {k-Hearts} on the turn. Both players checked to the {6-Clubs} river and Swingruber now bet 225,000. D'Ambrosio carefully counted his stack and made the call,

Swingruber turned over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for aces up and that won the pot to swing the trend in his favor.

Swingruber then raised and D'Ambrosio called on the {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop. D'Ambrosio bet 38,000 and Swingruber moved all in to force a fold.

"Changing strategy?!" D'Ambrosio inquired and sent his cards into the muck.

One further hand was played on their table and the heads-up duel with Keith Lehr and Jake Schindler before all four players agreed on a bathroom break before the start of the next level.
