Lehr Pulls Further Ahead

Level 45 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Keith Lehr check-called a bet of 30,000 on the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop and the {4-Spades} turn was checked. Lehr bet the {8-Clubs} river for 70,000 and Simon Burns folded.

Soon after, Lehr defended to see the {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and his bet forced a fold from Burns to see the Brit fall back further. Most of the pots without showdown have gone to Lehr, who has pulled into an almost 2-1 lead in the final match of the found of 16.

Round of 16; Blinds 12,000/24,000

Simon Burns raised it up to 60,000 on the button and Keith Lehr moved all in from the big blind. Burns quickly called and the cards were tabled with the two players flipping for stacks.

Keith Lehr: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Simon Burns: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Lehr took the lead with a pair of tens. The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and the river was the {2-Hearts}. The stacks were counted and Lehr had just over 480,000, more than half of the chips which meant he covered Burns. Lehr is taking a quick break before his next match begins with Jake Schindler.
