McCarthy Eliminates Miles

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tony Miles
Tony Miles

After losing most of his chips in a pervious hand with pocket jacks, Tony Miles found himself all in from the big blind against Michael McCarthy on the button.

Tony Miles: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Michael McCarthy: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Miles was ahead and even caught his nine on the flop but his opponent flopped a flush draw {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The turn came the {k-Diamonds} and Tony just needed to dodge a heart on the river.

Unfortunately, it came the {k-Hearts} and Miles was eliminated from the tournament.

"That was stupid of me," Iglinsky said before asking for a count. When Morgan's chips were totaled at 57,500, Iglinsky announced a call. "Gamble!" he said.

James Iglinsky: {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Doug Morgan: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Iglinsky was unable to improve as Morgan secured the double.

Jattin Doubles Through Frey

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Hunter Frey opened with a raise to 10,000 on the button and Farid Jattin moved all in for 98,000 from the big blind. Frey Called.

Hunter Frey: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Farid Jattin: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Jattin was at risk of elimination and the flop of {3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Spades} was no help but the turn brought the {j-Diamonds} giving him the lead and Hunter wanted to see a king on the river to eliminate Jattin.

The river came the {q-Hearts} giving Jattin two-pair and a nice double up.
