Hanson Rolled Over by a Wheel

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Bart Hanson
Bart Hanson

Bart Hanson limped under the gun, and the hijack came along also. From the cutoff, Brock Parker raised to 3,000 and the button called.

The big blind, Hanson, and the hijack all called, and action checked to the button on the {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and he bet 1,500.

The big blind folded, but the remaining three players all called as the turn landed the {4-Diamonds}.

Hanson led out for 3,000, and his three opponents called as the {a-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Action checked to the button, and he bet 3,000. Hanson called, but the hijack and Parker folded.

The button tabled his {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a wheel, and Hanson mucked.

Glantz and Makarov Scoop Martini

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Julien Martini opened to 3,000 from under the gun and both Matt Glantz and Alexey Makarov called from the cutoff and small blind.

The flop landed {6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} and after Makarov checked, Martini continued for 1,500. Glantz called, but Makarov check-raised to 3,000.

Martini and Glantz called, and when the turn landed the {2-Clubs}, Makarov led out for 3,000 with both Martini and Glantz calling.

The river was the {8-Hearts}, and Makarov bet again. Martini called, and Glantz now elected to raise. Makarov and Martini called, and Glantz tabled his {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for the nut low.

Makarov revealed his {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for kings-up, and when Martini folded, Makarov and Glantz chopped the pot.
