Bart Hanson

Glantz and Makarov Scoop Martini

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Julien Martini opened to 3,000 from under the gun and both Matt Glantz and Alexey Makarov called from the cutoff and small blind.

The flop landed {6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} and after Makarov checked, Martini continued for 1,500. Glantz called, but Makarov check-raised to 3,000.

Martini and Glantz called, and when the turn landed the {2-Clubs}, Makarov led out for 3,000 with both Martini and Glantz calling.

The river was the {8-Hearts}, and Makarov bet again. Martini called, and Glantz now elected to raise. Makarov and Martini called, and Glantz tabled his {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for the nut low.

Makarov revealed his {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for kings-up, and when Martini folded, Makarov and Glantz chopped the pot.
