Ashby Quarters Zaichenko

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Nick Schulman has been eliminated and Andrey Zaichenko suffered a minor setback at the same time on a different table when he check-called bets by Richard Ashby on the turn and river of a board {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Jim Collopy had folded on the turn already and Ashby tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a full house and five-four low.

Zaichenko showed {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for the same low and received one quarter of the pot.

Bendor Back on Track; Busts Koral

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Tom Koral was out of his chair and all in with the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} while start-of-the-day chip leader Yarron Bendor had {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} tabled.

On the {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts} board, Bendor turned a pair of kings and there was no relevant low to ensure the elimination of Koral.

Robert Stevanovski also ran out of chips, as Johannes Becker was moved to his former seat with now 45 players remaining.

The hopes of Derek McMaster to win back-to-back Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better bracelets at the 2019 WSOP are still alive after he turned a full house with his short stack to put a dent into the big stack of Sam Higgs. The cards of the Aussie were already in the muck as McMaster had tabled the winner with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} on a {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts} board.
