Good Start for Sinclair

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Denis Shafikov raised to 1,800 from the hijack and Dan Zack three-bet to 5,500. Roy Upshaw called in the small blind and now Shafikov four-bet to 18,500. Zack considered his options and then decided to shove. Both Upshaw and Shafikov quickly folded.

The hand right after, Jack Sinclair raised to 1,600 from under the gun and was called by Upshaw on the button and Bas de Laat in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}, Sinclair continued with a bet of 1,300 which only Upshaw called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Sinclair barreled a bet of 5,500 over the line now. Upshaw called again.

The river completed the board with the {3-Clubs}, Sinclair glanced at Upshaw and then flicked in two orange 5,000-value chips for the bet. Upshaw took a few seconds and then open-folded {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} so the 2018 WSOP Europe Main Event Champion could pick up the pot.
