Glantz Doubles Through Rast

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Catching the action after the draw, Brian Rast checked from the big blind and Matt Glantz continued with a bet of 24,000.

Rast responded with a check-raise to 100,000, and after a few moments of thinking, Glantz called all in for 66,500.

Rast tabled his {9-}{9-} for a pair, and Glantz revealed his {10-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{2-} for a ten-eight to double through.

Bellande Doubles Through Kassela with Better Nine

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante

Cary Katz raised under the gun to 10,000 and Jean-Robert Bellande called on the button, as did Frank Kassela from the big blind.

Kassela and Katz drew one, and Bellande drew two.

Kassela led out for 30,000 and Katz folded, and when he did, an assortment of cards were exposed after they hit the muck; {8-}{8-}.

Bellande shoved all in for 118,500 and Kassela quickly called.

"I have a nine," announced Kassela.

"Well I win then. Better nine," responded Bellande.

Kassela tabled his {9-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}, but Bellande's {9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a nine-smooth would secure him the double.
