Hands #71-76: Curcio Wins Some Before the Break

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Hand #71: Joseph Liberta raised to 175,000 from the hijack and got no action.

Hand #72: Jared Koppel raised to 170,000 from the button and Joe Curcio called in the big blind. They both checked through the {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop to the {3-Clubs} on the turn. Curcio check-called the 175,000 bet of Koppel. They then both checked again on the {7-Clubs} on the river for Curcio to pick up the pot with {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

Hand #73: Koppel raised to 170,000 from the cutoff and Matt Russell three-bet to 430,000 on the button. Action folded back to Koppel who called to see the {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} on the flop. Koppel then check-folded to the 380,000 bet of Russell.

Hand #74: Dong Sheng Peng completed his small blind and Liberta opted to check. They both checked through the {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop to the {a-Spades} on the turn. Peng bet 85,000 and Liberta let his hand go.

Hand #75: Peng raised to 180,000 on the button and Roman Korenev called in the big blind. They both checked through the {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop to the {2-Hearts} on the turn. Korenev bet 275,000 and Peng called for them both to check again on the {k-Diamonds} on the river. Korenev tabled {q-Spades}{7-Spades} for the pair of sevens but was beaten by the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} of Peng.

Hand #76: Curcio raised to 175,000 from the hijack and that was enough to pick up the blinds and ante before the players were sent for another 15-minute break.
