Vegard Ropstad

Aditya Sushant raised from the hijack to 200,000 and was met with calls by Sevak Mikaiel on the button and Vegard Ropstad out of the big blind. The flop came {3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Ropstad went all in for 1,100,000. After confirming, Sushant announced he was all in for 1,845,000. Mikaeil folded and the two remaining players tabled their hands.

Vegard Ropstad: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Aditya Sushant: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Sushant thought he had two overcards and a flush draw but was in fact only drawing to his pair outs. The turn and river brought {4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and he was unable to secure the knockout as Ropstad collected the pot.

Quan Zhou Eliminated in 14th Place ($17,409)

Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

Quan Zhou moved all in from the button. Coming off his big double-up, Yosef Lider was in the big blind and called Zhou's all-in.

Zhou had the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} while Lider held the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

"Keep it clean!" pleaded Lider. But the flop would not be clean as it came the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The turn made matters more grim for Lider when it came the {8-Hearts}.

But the two outer came through on the river as the {7-Diamonds} binked off to eliminate Zhou in 14th place, who took it in good spirits by taking a photo of the board with his phone and smiling as he walked to the payout line.

Lider Doubles Through Kaneoya

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Yosef Lider barely made it back to the table before the hand began and as he looked at his hand he shoved under the gun.

He got a call from Renato Kaneoya and everyone else folded.

Lider needed some help as he held the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} against the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} of Kaneoya.

The flop would give him that when it came the {q-Clubs}{a-Spades}{8-Spades} the turn was the {10-Clubs} and the river the {2-Spades} to secure an important double up for Lider.

Song Uses Big Stack

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

In a three-way pot the flop read {2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Yosef Lider bet 365,000 after it had been checked to him by both players. Ahmed Jbari got out of the way. Stephen Song quickly raised to 1,500,000 to put the screws to Lider.

Lider looked pained by the raise and thought hard for about thirty seconds before deciding to lay it down to the aggression of Song.
