Renato Kaneoya

Miguel Seoane Iglesias was in a heads up pot from middle position against Renato Kaneoya in the hijack with around 500,000 in the pot from preflop action. The dealer turned over a flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Seoane Iglesias checked to Kaneoya, who put in a bet of 180,000. Seoane Iglesias made the call and the turn came {9-Hearts}. Seoane Iglesias checked again and Kaneoya fired a bet of 700,000. Seoane Iglesias took some time to make the call. The river was {q-Hearts} and Seoane Iglesias again checked. Bryan Arnold Eliminated in 18th Place ($13,830)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Bryan Arnold
Bryan Arnold

Bryan Arnold was all in for his tournament life, just barely covered by the stack of Aditya Sushant.

Arnold held the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} up against the {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} of Sushant.

The board remained safe for Arnold through the turn as it came {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} but the {q-Spades} on the river would spell doom for his chances to advance further in the tournament and he was eliminated in 18th place.

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Lider Triples With Little Slick

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action folded to Yosef Lider in the cutoff, who jammed for his last 460,000. Cameron Lemmons asked for a count before making the call. With action on Miguel Seoane Iglesias, he confirmed that there was an all in and a call before announcing he was all in. The reraise effectively put Lemmons at a decision for his last 2,200,000 or so, and it was enough to make him fold. Seoane Iglesias and Lider were now the only two left and Lider had an opportunity at a coin flip heads up to triple.

Yosef Lider: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Miguel Seoane Iglesias: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Lider ended up winning the flip as the board came {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and he earned the full triple.

Hellmuth Shoved Out Pre-Flop

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

"I'm the only one trying to win. Everyone else is just trying to get their money in the middle." Phil Hellmuth said after he had raised from the cutoff but was forced to fold to the all in shove from Pedro Ingles on the button. Hellmuth showed the {a-Diamonds}.

"That's twice now that you've shoved on me. I'm keeping track." he continued as Ingles pulled in the modest gain to his stack.

Stewart's Meaty Raise Gets Paid

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Scott Stewart
Scott Stewart

A seemingly innocuous pot was developing between Scott Stewart and Sevak Mikaiel on a board that read {2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

After being checked to, Mikaiel made around a pot pized bet of 75,000. Stewart blasted off with a huge raise to 650,000. This caught the attention of Mikaiel who seemed perplexed by the raise and after mulling it over tossed in the call.

Stewart instantly flipped over the {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for the full boat and scooped the big addition to his stack.
