Sammartino Flushes Hastings; Semin Short Once More

Dario Sammartino check-called a bet on the {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} turn and then bet the {k-Spades} river. Brian Hastings called and Sammartino turned over {10-Spades}{3-Spades} for a flush.

"Super Dario, it is your game" Craig Chait chimed in, as Sammartino has seemingly taken down most of the Hold'em hands on their table so far.

One table over, Mikhail Semin gave up two pots and was left short once more.

The first hand was in Omaha Hi-Lo when Matthew Gonzales bet the turn and river of a board {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Semin called the first bet and tank-folded to the second, getting shown the {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} by Gonzales.

He then took on Scott Clements and check-folded on sixth.

Marco Johnson raised to 60,000 under the gun, and Matthew Gonzales called next to act in the hijack.

The flop landed {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Johnson continued for 30,000 and Gonzales called.

The {10-Spades} and {k-Spades} checked through on the turn and river, and Johnson tabled his {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} to scoop Gonzales' {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Mike Ross defended out of the big blind against a raise by Marco Johnson and they checked the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} turn. Ross bet the {10-Hearts} river and Johnson reluctantly folded.

One hand later, Matthew Gonzales limped in and Ross did so from the small blind, Mikhail Semin checked in the big blind. The {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop was checked to Gonzales and he bet, only Ross called. Ross check-called a bet on the {k-Spades} turn as well and the {9-Spades} on the river went check, check.

Ross tabled {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for kings and sixes, which took down the pot.

Hastings Doubles Through Galfond

On fifth, Hastings bet, Galfond raised, and Hastings raised all in for his 170,000 total. Galfond called.

Galfond was in the lead with split aces against Hastings' split kings, but on sixth, Hastings found the case ace to take the lead as Galfond found the {4-Spades}.

On seventh, Galfond revealed the {2-Spades}, and Hastings improved again with the {k-Hearts} to double through.

On the tail end of a Stud hand between Craig Chait and Brian Hastings, the latter bet sixth and seventh. Chait called the first bet and then raised on seventh. Hastings was immediately taken aback and smiled, gave it some more thought and grabbed all cards together.

Hastings mucked and the {6-Spades} was visible, which gave him a nine-high straight.

"I was playing Razz still. Oh, you had a straight? I can only show one bluff, that's it," Chait said in table chat with a big grin on the face.
