Henson Sends Donabedian Out Early in the Day

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Andrew Donabedian
Andrew Donabedian

The flop read {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and there was around 10,000 in the pot. Andrew Donabedian, who won Event #25: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack for $205,665 just yesterday, moved all in for his remaining stack of about 8,500 and Ray Henson called. Both players tabled their hands.

Donabedian showed {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for two pair with a flush draw and Henson tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, giving him ace-high but a higher flush draw.

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Henson's spiked queen played with the board for a higher two pair, giving him the pot and eliminating Donabedian in the process.
