Hu Eliminates Rogers

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

John David Rogers was all in for his last 5,000 chip sitting in the big blind and Jacob Thibodeau raised to 26,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Haiyun Hu who three-bet to 91,000 from late position, action came back around to Thibodeau who folded.

Rogers was trailing the pocket aces of Hu and had a glimmer of hope when he turned the diamond flush draw, but couldn't get there as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Donatelli Calls Down Turner, Adds to Lead

The board read {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and there was around 100,000 in the pot. Jon Turner pushed in a bet of 100,000 and Gregory Donatelli thought for a brief moment then called.

Turner announced two pair and Donatelli instantly slammed over {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a straight. Turner mucked and Donatelli scooped in the pot.

Rockets Hold For Grimes, Doubles Through Lunkin

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Phillip Grimes opened with a raise to 30,000 under the gun, he was called by Vitaly Lunkin on the button and the small blind player.

The flop of {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades} was checked to Lunkin who bet 115,000. The small blind folded and action was on Grimes who moved all in for 128,000, Lunkin called.

Grimes' {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} was ahead of Lunkin's {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} but had to dodge a lot of cards to survive his all in.

The {a-Clubs} on the turn gave Grimes a set of aces and he would double up after the dealer put the {4-Hearts} on the river.

Leppanen Doubles Through Reichardt with Rockets

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Juuso Leppanen opened from the button to 23,000 and his neighbor Sven Reichardt instantly made it 79,000 in the small blind. Leppanen potted to 247,000 and Reichardt called.

The flop fell {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, Reichardt moved all in and Leppanen called for his remaining 40,000. Reichardt tabled {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a flush and straight draw, Leppanen tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a pair of aces with the higher flush draw.

The board ran out {6-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Leppanen scooped in the pot with his aces, doubling through Reichardt.

Thinh Makes Good River Call

Nathaniel Wachtel opened with a raise to 20,000 and he was called by Chu Thinh sitting directly to his left.

Wachtel fired 30,000 after the {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop, Thinh called.

Both players checked the {q-Spades} on the turn.

Thinh called the 60,000 bet from Wachtel after the {j-Clubs} fell on the river and Thinh tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a rivered straight and he raked in the pot.

Stout Fails to Push Lin Off the Hand

The turned board read {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and there was 40,000 in the pot. Thida Lin checked and Matt Stout potted for 40,000. Lin check-called and the {8-Clubs} fell as a river card.

Lin checked to Stout again and he reached for chips, pushing in 80,000. Lin thought for a moment and ultimately she called. Stout tabled {a-}{j-}{9-}{3-} for a pair of nines and Lin showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}, giving her two pair and the pot.

Goindoo Takes Pot From Turner

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

There was four-way action headed to the flop after Jon Turner raised to 16,000 under the gun.

The flop of {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} was checked to Turner who bet 30,000 and action was on Ryan Goindoo who three-bet to 150,000. Floyd Bangerter and Christoph Codey folded from the blinds. Turner debated for a few minutes before mucking his hand and Goindoo raked in the chips.
