Torrecillas Takes it on the Turn

Francisco Torrecillas raised to 25,000 from the hijack and Demosthenes Kiriopoulos, in the big blind, called.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Kiriopoulos check-called a bet of 18,000 from Torrecillas.

The turn nwas the {4-Spades} and Kiriopoulos checked once more. Torrecillas continued with another bet of 100,000, that was enough to claim the pot.

Bednar Picks Off Miles

Jan Bednar was in the big blind and check-calling Tony Miles on {8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades}. He called bets of 30,000 and 70,000 then faced a bet of 140,000 on the river. Bednar thought things over then dropped in a chip.

Miles shook his head and revealed {k-Spades}{j-Spades}, while Bednar took it with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Flush For Torrecillas

Paul Pires Trigo raised to 26,000 on the cutoff and Francisco Torrecillas called from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} that was checked around to the {k-Hearts} turn and the {8-Clubs} river. This time, Torrecillas fired 77,000 and Trigo gave it some thought then opted to call. Torrecillas showed {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a flush and Trigo sent his cards to the muck.

Loeser Cold Four-Bet Rips

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After an open under the gun to 26,000 by Demosthenes Kiriopoulos, Rafael Moraes made it 80,000 on the button. Manig Loeser asked to see his stack, which was around 450,000. Loeser thought a bit more then announced all in for about 500,000. Kiriopoulos folded quickyl, Moraes slightly less so.

Francisco Torrecillas raised on the button and Paul Pires Trigo, in the big blind, three-bet to 65,000. Torrecillas added the remainder to call.

A flop of {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} is dealt and Trigo bet 40,000. Torrecillas called.

The turn brought the {a-Clubs} and was checked throught to the {9-Hearts} river. Again, both players opted to check. Trigo showed {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Torrecillas threw his hand in the muck.

De Silva on Seven Figures

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jonathan Proudfoot three-bet to 75,000 over an open from Upeshka De Silva under the gun. De Silva called and {10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flopped. Proudfoot bet 55,000 and De Silva called. Both players checked the {7-Spades}, bringing a {q-Clubs}. Proudfoot bet 90,000 and De Silva tanked awhile then announced a raise. He had trouble pushing out all of the stacks he wanted, so he announced 320,000.

Proudfoot mucked instantly.

Guillen Busts Benger

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Griffin Benger got his last 185,000 in with {4-}{4-} on the button but was dominated by the {9-}{9-} of Angel Guillen in the small blind. The board ran out clean for Guillen and the former chip leader headed for payouts.
