Sinclair on a Rise

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With around 85,000 in the middle, Jack Sinclair was out of position in a battle of blinds, coming to a {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} turn. He checked and so did his opponent, and the dealer completed the board with a {10-Clubs}. Sinclair led out 70,000 and the other player mucked after a few seconds.

Cheung Rivers Broadway To Eliminate Opponent

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action folded to the cut-off and he shipped all in for 55,000. Robert Cheung reraised to 102,000 from the button and both the blinds folded.

Robert Cheung: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The dealer spread a flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and it wasn't looking good for Cheung. The turn was the {4-Clubs} not helping him but the {10-Spades} on the river gave him Broadway and his opponent was sent to the rail.

David "ODB" Baker
David "ODB" Baker

David "ODB" Baker was in position, betting 33,000 into the pot on {5-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. He got check-raised by a player in the big blind who made it 89,000. Baker declared he was all in and a call followed right away.

Baker was in a dream spot with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} against {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} and he avoided a nasty two-outer on the {a-Spades} river to provide the elimination.
