Israelashvili Check-Shoves in PLO

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

With 28,000 in the middle and the action on the {6-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} turn, Mike Ross checked from the small blind and so did his neighbor Roland Israelashvili. Xunen Zheng bet 10,000 in the hijack and Ross called. Israelashvili, however, had other plans. He announced he was all in and his stack was counted at 54,400. Zheng needed some time before he let his hand go, and Ross folded as well.

Hastings Eliminated by Siegel

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

5-Card Draw High

Picking up the action post betting, Brian Hastings was all in for about 50,000 and drawing one against Jordan Siegel who was pat with {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for fours full of jacks.

Hastings held {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} and squeezed his final card.

"Three across," said Hastings jokingly, as he showed the {3-Clubs} to bust.

Wattel Picks Off Owen

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Big O

Adam Owen and Mike Wattel had made it to the river of the {j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} board by the time the action was picked up. Each of the players had an 8,500-bet in front of them from a previous street, and Owen led out 19,000 from the small blind. Wattel, sitting in the hijack, tossed in calling chips.

"You got it," Owen immediately said, showing {a-}{4-} among his hole cards.

Wattel turned up {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and scooped the pot with a flush.

Good Start for Sternheimer

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Badacey

Philip Sternheimer was among the players who entered the tournament at the buzzer, starting with 60,000 today. Sternheimer was able to increase his stack early into the first level of the day, mostly thanks to a hand of badacey.

The action was picked up after the first draw, Philip Sternheimer bet and Anthony Alberto called. Alberto took one, Sternheimer patted, and Sternheimer fired again. Alberto called and the draw went one-pat again.

Sternheimer fired one more bet but Alberto didn't squeeze what he needed and he gave up.
