Hands #52-54: Lichtenberger Left Short

Level 40 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

Hand #52: Weiyi Zhang raised to 125,000 from under the gun and Andrew Lichtenberger defended his big blind. The flop came {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts} on which they both checked to see the {8-Hearts} on the turn. Lichtenberger bet 180,000 which Zhang called.

The river came the {5-Hearts} to complete the board and the flush draw. Lichtenberger continued with a bet of 130,000 and Zhang carefully considered his options. After a while, Zhang opted to shove for 635,000 and Lichtenberger snap-called with {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a flush but was beaten by Zhang's nut flush with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. Lichtenberger was left with 425,000.

Hand #53: Johan Guilbert raised to 120,000 from the button and got no action.

Hand #54: Guilbert raised to 120,000 under the gun and David Lambard three-bet to 400,000 from the big blind for Guilbert to let the hand go.
