Ma Doubles Through Fowleks

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Tony Ma open-jammed from the cutoff for 17,400 and he was called by Richard Fowlkes from the big blind.

Tony Ma: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Richard Fowlkes: {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Ma was ahead but the {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} gave Fowlkes the nut flush draw.

The {7-Spades} fell on the turn and add more outs to Fowlkes hand as he could win with a flush or straight.

The river was a brick as it came the {9-Hearts} and Ma got a much needed double in hopes to capture his third WSOP gold bracelet.
