Berilgen Continues to Fire on All Cylinders

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Jason Berilgen opened from the button, David Halpern defended his big blind and the flop came down {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Halpern check-called a bet on the flop from Berilgen and the dealer flipped over a {3-Spades} on the turn.

Halpern checked to Berilgen who pushed fired in another bet, Halpern snap-called and a {4-Hearts} peeled on the river. Halpern checked to Berilgen, he pushed in another bet and this time Halpern ducked, shipping the pot to Berilgen.

Yu Folds on the River

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Derek McMaster
Derek McMaster

Derek McMaster raised under the gun and Ben Yu put in a third bet from the cutoff. The button and blinds folded and McMaster paid.

The flop fell {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and McMaster checked to the 2018 WSOP Player-of-the-Year runner-up. Yu bet 40,000 and he was raised by McMaster to 80,000. Yu called.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Yu paid off a bet of 80,000 and McMaster fired again on the {9-Hearts} river.

Yu eventually folded and McMaster showed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for the absolute nuts. He mucked his other two cards.

Patrick Leonard Eliminated in 9th Place ($15,897)

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard opened from under the gun, Joseph Aronesty pushed in three bets in late position and Leonard called to see the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop.

Leonard checked to Aronesty, he fired in a bet and Leonard instantly called. The {4-Hearts} hit the felt as a turn card, action checked to Aronesty who pushed in enough to cover his opponent.

Leonard called for his remaining stack and the two turned over their hands. Leonard tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a pair of aces with an eight low draw and would be drawing to just the low when Aronesty showed {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a flopped full house. The {9-Hearts} came on the river and there would be no low for Leonard as he was sent packing by Aronesty's full house in 9th place.

Rick Fuller: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
