Raymond Flora Eliminated in 20th Place ($6,495)

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Raymond Flora
Raymond Flora

Soon after his double (and after taking another pot with a preflop three-bet), Raymond Flora has busted in 20th. Luc Bellerive opened preflop to 350,000 and Flora re-raised to 920,000, his intentions clear with half a million behind. Bellerive set him in, and the deck had bad news for Flora's {a-}{a-}{x-}{x-}. Bellerive held {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}, which connected with the {7-}{8-}{j-} flop, and again on the {k-} turn for two pair. The {q-} river helped no one, and 19 players now remain.

Jacob Reiland Eliminated in 22nd Place ($6,495)

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jacob Reiland
Jacob Reiland

Following Christopher Nall (23rd for the same prize) to the cash desk is Jacob Reiland, who moved all in under the gun for 280,000, requesting, "Light calls only." Adam Lamphere (who's taken down two pots since the restart, uncalled) flatted, and it folded to small blind Sam Razavi, who made it 1,200,000 to go. Lamphere wasted no time in folding.

"I'm blind," announced Reiland, who showed down {j-Clubs}{7-Spades} to Razavi's {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Reiland flopped an out-kicked pair and didn't improve on the {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} runout.

Lamphere Gets Monster Double Through Finne

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Adam Lamphere
Adam Lamphere

No-Limit Hold'em

Tim Finne opened from the cutoff to 140,000 and Adam Lamphere reraised to 500,000. The action folded back around to Finne who announced "All-in", Lamphere snap-called off his 2,415,000 chips.

Tim Finne: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Adam Lamphere: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Lamphere was a big favorite going to the flop of {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, still only needing to dodge an eight. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} which was fantastic news for Lamphere, as he was guaranteed to double up. The river {7-Clubs} was just a formality and Lamphere took down a huge pot.

Scratch Both Chip Leader Posts: Tim Finne Tops 5 Million

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Timothy Finne
Timothy Finne

Pot-Limit Omaha

The number of big, multiway all-in pots in the PLO rounds is making determining a chip leader for more than 15 minutes at a time difficult. Never struggling chip-wise today, and now sitting behind a wall of ammunition is Tim Finne. His last pot grew chunky on a {4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop. Three-way, it checked to the button who bet 225,000. The earliest position player check-raised to one million (a pot-committing bet), and it was round to Finne in the middle. When he announced, "Pot," it really meant all-in for his brace of opponents; the button folded and it was heads up, cards on their backs:

Finne: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for the nut flopped straight.
All in opponent: {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a lower flopped straight with a club flush draw.

The turn and river fell {9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Finne is shortly going to be coloured up, lest his table overbalance.

Ahuja Takes Almost Half of Oliva's Stack

Ashish Ahuja
Ashish Ahuja

Pot-Limit Omaha

After a series of raises pre-flop, all the chips went in the middle between Ashish Ahuja and Jakub Oliva. Ahuja was at risk for 815,000.

Ashish Ahuja: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Jakub Oliva: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Ahuja was in pretty good shape and the board ran out {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, giving both of them full houses but Ahuja winning with fives full of aces for a massive double up.

Kempe Counterfeits Provost to Stay Alive

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

The action folded around to Rainer Kempe in the hijack and he moved all-in for 380,000. It folded around to Mathyeu Provost in the small blind, he called and the big blind quickly folded.

Mathyeu Provost: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Rainer Kempe: {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Kempe was in bad shape pre-flop and the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop wasn't looking too promising. The {8-Diamonds} landed on the turn and changed nothing, but the {a-Diamonds} on the river counterfeited Provost and Kempe got the double up and got to keep his seat.
