Defazio's Aces Best Aces

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Sean Winter raised to 4,800 from the cutoff, and the button three-bet to 18,000. Anthony Defazio four-bet to 41,000 in the small blind, and Winter folded. The button five-bet jammed for 72,000, and Defazio called.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Anthony Defazio: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Defazio liked the {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, which gave him the nut flush draw, and the {6-Diamonds} turn completed said flush, leaving Defazio's opponent looking for a three on the river to chop the pot. The {5-Clubs} river didn't do it, and Defazio eliminated his foe.

Shack-Harris Off to a Decent Start

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Brandon Shack-Harris
Brandon Shack-Harris

Brandon Shack-Harris started Day 2 with just 20 big blinds but soon chipped up without showdown when he three-bet the pot against Tim Seidensticker. He was then involved in a three-way pot with Chance Kornuth and Raphael Schreiner and by the time the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs} turn showed and Shack-Harris check-raised the pot into a bet of 10,5000 by Schreiner, Kornuth had already folded.

Schreiner eventually called all in and Shack-Harris tabled his {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a turned full house.

"Sevens," Schreiner sighed and flipped over {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. The case seven did not come, as a blank {4-Hearts} fell on the river.

"If you guys have that, what did I have?" Kornuth joked.

Kruse Takes Another Hit

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

On a completed board of {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, Matt Perry made it 35,000 to go and Max Kruse called after some consideration.

Perry tabled the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a flush and Kruse mucked to lose another big chunk out of his stack.

Taylor Can't Fade The Flush

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Esther Taylor checked a {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop to Jan Collado, who bet 6,000. Taylor raised the pot, then called off her last 40,000 when Collado potted it back.

Esther Taylor: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Jan Collado: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

Collado hit his flush right away on the {9-Clubs} turn, and Taylor couldn't fill up on the {8-Diamonds} river to bust.

Mio Takes From Serda

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

On a three-way flop of {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}, the action checked around and Patrick Serda also checked the {7-Diamonds} on the turn, as did Justin Young. Hani Mio bet 6,500 and Serda check-raised to 17,000. Young quickly folded ad Mio called.

The {9-Spades} on the river was checked and Mio tabled {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a straight to win the pot.

The fourth table in Amazon Gold just broke and below are some assorted counts.

Astedt and Watson Eliminated By Landherr

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Niklas Astedt
Niklas Astedt

Niklas Astedt bet 26,000 on a {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop from middle position, and Mike Watson raised to 104,000 next to act. Jeffrey Landherr then jammed for around 210,000, and after Antonios Rouggeris folded, Astedt called off his last 6,800, and Watson followed suit with his last 56,000.

Niklas Astedt: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Mike Watson: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Jeffrey Landherr: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Landherr's top set was in great shape against his opponent's holdings, but the {4-Hearts} turn gave Watson some help with the nut heart draw. The {4-Clubs} river improved Landherr to a full house, and he netted the double elimination.

Andrew Loomis chipped up early and added even more chips to his stack after sending Gary Bolden to the rail. Bolden's cards were already mucked while Loomis had the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} showing on a board of {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.
