Jaffe Doubles Through Alaei

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Will Jaffe
Will Jaffe

Andrey Razov dropped a few chips while Andjelko Andrejevic added some more. In the meanwhile, Will Jaffe had dropped below a million and repotted a raise by Daniel Alaei. They got it in preflop with Jaffe at risk for 960,000 in the following showdown.

Will Jaffe: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Daniel Alaei: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop was a sweat for Alaei, but the {7-Spades} turn and {j-Hearts} river kept Jaffe in contention.

Another Double for Andrejevic

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Having gone through the blinds once, Andjelko Andrejevic was down to 330,000 and three-bet jammed the button after an open raise of Dash Dudley, who quickly called.

Andjelko Andrejevic: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Dash Dudley: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The board came {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and the two pair of Andrejevic locked up the double.

Adam Hendrix Eliminated in 12th Place ($56,703)

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Adam Hendrix
Adam Hendrix

James Park raised to 175,000 from the hijack and saw both Jeremy Ausmus, in the cutoff, and Adam Hendrix, in the small blind, call to see a {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop.

Hendrix bet pot for 605,000, leaving himself 300,000, behind and saw Park reshove. Ausmus quickly got out of the way, and Hendrix called.

James Park: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Adam Hendrix: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Park's top set was ahead of Hendrix's holding, and when the turn brought the {q-Spades} for quads, that was the end of the run for Hendrix. The insignificant {7-Diamonds} hit the river, and Hendrix said his goodbyes to the table and collected $56,703 in 12th place.

Andrejevic Short; Nearly Quadruples

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Andjelko Andrejevic raised the pot and Andrey Razov repotted to 880,000, which Andrejevic called with just 150,000 behind. Razov jammed the {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and Andrejevic double-checked his cards twice before sigh-folding.

Andrejevic then jammed for 150,000 and he was called by Daniel Alaei and Kyle Montgomery in the big blind. The two active players checked the {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} board and Montgomery flashed his {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Andrejevic had {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a full house and Alaei mucked.

The {3-Spades} turn was checked and Andrejevic jammed the {9-Hearts} river, which Montgomery sigh-called with the words "there is too much in it."

Andrejevic turned over {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for jacks full and Mongomery briefly showed his cards, which contained the {4-Diamonds}, before sending them to the muck.
