Holzhauer Grinds a Stack

James Holzhauer raised to 1,000 from the cutoff and the player on the button called. Aaron Pinson also called from the big blind.

The flop fell {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} and after a check from Pinson, Holzhauer continued for 1,000. It was enough to grab the pot without more resistance as of the Jeopardy expert's opponents folded.

The following hand, a player raised to 1,000 and Holzhauer called from the hijack position. When the flop appeared {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, the initial player checked and Holzhauer bet 900. His opponent considered it for a minute before folding. two pots in quick succession for Holzhauer.
