2-7 Triple Draw

Bryce Yockey opened from the cutoff on the first hand back from the dinner break. Jared Bleznick was in the big blind and three-bet all in. Yockey called.

Bleznick took two and Yockey one on the first draw. Both players drew one on the second draw. On the final draw, both players took one again.

"I started with this," Yockey said, tabling {7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

"You're a big favorite," Bleznick said.

"I can't be that big of a favorite," said Yockey as he turned over {9-} to make a ninety-seven. "Well, now, I am."

Bleznick tabled {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, needing a seven, eight, or nine to survive. He looked at his final card.

"Good game," he said, turning over {10-Diamonds}. "Good luck, guys."

With Bleznick's elimination, there are now 18 players remaining on three full tables of six. Players are now six eliminations away from making the money in this prestigious event.

Stud Wins for Vitch, Friedman

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Stud

Josh Arieh: {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Chris Vitch: {x-}{x-} / {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Arieh bet fourth street, Chris Vitch called, and Dan Cates folded his {6-Spades}{k-Diamonds} board. Vitch bet when he made an open pair of queens on fifth street, and Arieh tank-folded.

At Table 403 at the same time, Prahlad Friedman bet fifth and sixth streets against Dario Sammartino with the following boards:

Prahlad Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Dario Sammartino: {x-}{x-} / {j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Sammartino called on fifth street, but folded on sixth street.

"Saved you 120,000," Adam Friedman told him in reference to the board double-pairing for Prahlad Friedman.

Cates and Esposito Chop One Up

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

John Esposito raised from the cutoff, and was called by Dan Cates on the button, Chris Klodnicki in the small blind, and Josh Arieh in the big blind.

Action checked to Esposito on a {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, and he bet. Cates and Klodnicki called, while Arieh folded.

Klodnicki checked the {8-Hearts} turn, and Esposito bet again. Cates called, and Klodnicki folded.

Esposito bet one final time on the {9-Hearts} river, and Cates called again.

"That hurt my hand," Esposito said before showing {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} for nines and eights and a low. Cates tabled {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a flush and a worse low, and the two chopped the pot.
