Bouskila Gets Lucky to Vazsorgatto

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Michel Bouskila started the action with a raise to 175,000 and Ramon Vazsorgatto called from the small blind. John White tanked for a minute and called as well.

Things escalated quickly when the flop fell {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Bouskila made a continuation bet for 250,000 after two checks and Vazsorgatto called. White decided to push all in for 1,290,000 and Bouskila took a minute before reshoving for 2,355,000. Vazsorgatto snap-called to create a three-way showdown:

John White: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Michel Bouskila: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Ramon Vazsorgatto: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Vazsorgatto had the best hand with a set of sevens and was in good shape to bust his two opponents and climb to a stack above eight million. However, the rest of the board fell a {a-Clubs} and a {10-Diamonds}, giving a miracle runner-runner straight to Bouskila who took down the pot while Vazsorgatto stood up from his chair to take a small walk.

Oboodi Busts Jeckeln in Two Hands

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Andres Jeckeln limped and it folded to Bobby Oboodi who checked his option.

The flop appeared {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and both players checked. On the {9-Hearts}, Oboodi check-called a bet from Jeckeln for 300,000.

Things heated on the {k-Hearts} river. Oboodi first check-raised all in after Jeckeln fired 625,000 and the latter made the call with a similar stack. Jeckeln revealed {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a set of nines on the turn but Oboodi held {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a flopped flush and Jeckeln was left with crumbs after that hand.

Jeckeln was all in from the big blind the hand after with {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and was facing once more Oboodi, holding {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, who found a jack on the flop to eliminate Jeckeln from the tournament.
