Shorr Eliminates Opponent

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

A player was all in before the flop and was called by Yueqi Zhu and Shannon Shorr. The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Shorr bet and Zhu quickly folded, leaving Shorr alone to attempt to eliminate the all in player.

Shorr would do just that as he showed the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and the board ran out the {10-Clubs} and the {8-Hearts} and the at risk player's hand was turned over as no good as he walked away from the table.

Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi has just won another pot, this time through barreling in a hand against Garrett Garvin.

The flop was already out and it read {3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Mizrachi who was playing in the small blind position, bet 7,000 and Garvin called. The {9-Hearts} turn saw more of the same but for 8,000 this time.

The river card was the {2-Hearts} and Mizrachi barreled 25,000, which was the vast majority of his chips. Garvin snap-folded and Mizrachi continued to move upwards.

Amer Gets Paid, Climbing in Chips

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante

Abdul Amer was involved in a hand with Laurence Miles. The flop was {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades}. Amer bet 8,000 which was called by Miles. The turn was the {8-Spades}. Action went check-check.

The river was the {2-Hearts}. Amer fired a big bet of 53,000 which caused Miles to think it over for a while before eventually calling. Amer turned over the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} for the rivered scoop and Miles showed his beaten hand of {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu is up over six figures after winning another small pot. The Canadian is now above average after he opened to 6,000 from under the gun and was called behind by a player in middle position and Jesse David on the button.

The flop was the {6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and when Negreanu didn't continue, both players checked also. The turn paired the board with the {9-Diamonds} and Neagreanu elected to bet, putting 12,500 over the line. His bet was good to take it down.

Quads for Mizrachi

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

On a board that read {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} Michael Mizrachi had raised his opponent from 4,000 to 19,000 on the river. After about thirty seconds of deliberation his opponent pitched his hand into the muck. While he certainly would have preferred a call, Mizrachi still smiled as he held his cards in his hand and showed them to the table, the {10-Clubs} and {10-Hearts} included for quads.
