Greenstein Eliminated by Dermer

Big O

Andreas Klatt raised to 13,000 under the gun and Aron Dermer flatted in the cutoff. Barry Greenstein had last 19,000 in the big blind and he moved all in. Both Klatt and Dermer called.

Klatt folded to Dermer's pot-sized bet of 60,000 on the {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop and the showdown followed.

Greenstein: {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Derner: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Dermer had aces with a royal flush draw, and while Greenstein hit a set on the {7-Clubs} turn, the river failed to pair the board. The {6-Spades} left Dermer's nut flush ahead and Greenstein was eliminated early into Day 3.

Rice Makes It Two Thousand Too Much

Level 21 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Big O

Shawn Rice opened to 18,000 from the second position and he found three callers as Sean Yu flatted on his button and Anatolii Zyrin and John Evans came along from the blinds.

The flop came {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and the action was checked to Rice who fired 72,000. Yu and Zyrin folded but Evans took nearly a minute, double checking his cards.

Then he eventually folded. "If it was 70,000, I would have called, Shawn," Evans said after he sent his hand into the muck.

Velador Doubles Through Cha

Level 21 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Three-way to a {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, PJ Cha bet 45,000 in position and Luis Velador check-shoved for 74,000 out of the small blind. Patrick Leonard tanked for a while in the big blind, asking Cha how much he had left in the process. Cha had only 20,000 more than Velador, and Leonard eventually folded. Cha called right away.

Velador: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}
Cha: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Cha had a wrap and a nut low draw, but he failed to fill either as the board ran out {9-Diamonds} and {3-Spades}, securing the whole pot for Velador.

Leonard claimed that he folded {6-}{5-}{4-}{3-} and he'd have scored a double knockout.

The river card fell the {a-Hearts}, and Howeth again called a bet from Guerfi.
