Melanie Weisner
Melanie Weisner

Melanie Weisner got all of her chips in the middle before the flop for 1,135,000 against one player.

Melanie Weisner: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

It was the coin flip and the dealer spread a flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} giving Weisner a flush draw as well as her two overcards. The turn sealed her double up when the {j-Hearts} hit and the {5-Spades} on the river was just a formality.

Smith Eliminates Franklin

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Tom Franklin
Tom Franklin

On the turn with the board reading {j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and roughly 400,000 in the middle, Mark Smith bet out 400,000 and "Captain" Tom Franklin was in the tank. After mulling it over for a while he eventually put in his 425,000 total and Smith called the extra 25,000.

Mark Smith: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Tom Franklin: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Franklin was in bad shape needing to catch an ace or a jack on the river and the {7-Spades} wasn't either of those sending him to the payout desk.
