Davis and Boyd Eliminated by Nugent

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Steve Davis jammed with the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and behind him, Thomas Boyd ended up all in with the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Matthew Nugent had both covered by just a few big blinds and tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

An ace appeared on the flop and turn of a board {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and that ensured the double knockout in favor of Nugent.

Alloggio Doubles Through Rodgers

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Mike Rodgers set his opponents all in in late position and Ben Allogio called from the big blind. Allogio was the all in player and he was dominating when the hands were turned over.

Ben Alloggio: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Mike Rodgers: {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The flop was {2-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs} and made Allogio a set, which rendered the {7-Hearts} turn and {j-Spades} river irrelevant. The pot left Rodgers down to 780,000 but he scooped the blinds and ante a hand or two later to bring his stack back into seven figures.

Quads for Barakeh

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Fadi Barakeh clashed with Stuart Jordan and they got it in after the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop, on which ended up all in with the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. Barakeh snap-called with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a set and the {8-Diamonds} turn and {j-Spades} river run out gave him quads.

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

With just a few big blinds left between them, it is no surprise to see Nick Pupillo and Aladin Reskallah in the line for the payouts desk just now.

Chipping Up

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Andres Korn, Sergei Konovalov and Michael Noor are some of the players on the rise as Mini Main continues to move at lightning speed, with only a little over 150 players still in contention at this point.

Saderne on a Roll; Cardner and Saho Eliminated

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Norson Saho
Norson Saho

Down to six big blinds, Patricia Cardner moved all in with the {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and big stack Jeremy Saderne called with the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop gave Saderne the nut straight, the {5-Spades} turn and {2-Clubs} river were a formality.

Shortly after, Norson Saho was spotted on his way out from the same table and the board was all but rushed away. Saderne added that he and his table neighbor limped and Saho jammed for 17 big blinds with {a-}{10-}. Saderne called with {a-}{k-} and scored the second knockout in a row.

Pupillo Down to the Felt

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Nick Pupillo
Nick Pupillo

Sudhakar Vundavalli moved all in on the hijack for 1,100,000 and Nick Pupillo moved over the top on the cutoff but when the cards were spun on their backs, it turned out the pro was the one who needed to hit.

Nick Pupillo: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Sudhakar Vundavalli: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Pupillo couldn't find help on the {5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} board and he is left with just 2 big blinds and change, whilst Vundavalli is in better shape now.
