Sheils Eliminates a Player to Cross 500k Chip Mark

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Richard Sheils raised from the hijack to 10,000 and the player in the cutoff raised to 112,000 which was all in. Sheils snap-called when it folded back to him.

Sheils was playing {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} which was ahead of his opponent's {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. The board ran out {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Sheils crossed the 500,000 chip mark by eliminating his opponent.

Wang Doubles Through Fast

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jack Salter raised to 11,500 from the cutoff and saw David Wang three-bet all in for 137,000 from the button. When the action folded to Dietrich Fast in the big blind, he asked for a count before reshoving for 198,000.

"Ayayay" was Salter's reaction and the Brit went into the tank.

After close to 90 seconds passed, Salter reluctantly folded, and the players revealed their holdings.

David Wang: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Dietrich Fast: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Board: {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The flop was very interesting with Wang taking the lead with top pair, but Fast increasing his outs with the nut flush draw.

The tense {2-Clubs} turn and {7-Spades} river fell, and Wang dodged Fast's outs to double.

Fast then questioned Salter as to if he would have won the hand had he called, but the latter smiled without responding as Wang clawed in the pot.

Burns Bounces Back

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Kahle Burns
Kahle Burns

Kahle Burns was all in from the button for 82,000 and saw Robert Heidorn call from the small blind.

Kahle Burns: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Robert Heidorn: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Board: {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Burns was in a flip for his tournament life but saw the flop massively fall in his favor when he hit a set. The turn and river cards were no good to Heidorn, and Burns moved up to 180,000.

Vieira Almost Doubles

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

Joao Vieira raised from the hijack to 8,500 and he was called by Joe Kuether in the cutoff. The players on the button and in the blinds got out of the way and the two continued heads-up.

The flop was dealt {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Vieira continued with a bet of 7,500. Kuether called again and the turn was the {j-Hearts}. Vieira sized up a bit on the turn when he bet 17,000 but that didn't scare Kuether away.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and Vieira bet 42,000. He had only 3,000 behind but Kuether just called.

Vieira tabled {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for the straight and he won the pot.
