Austrian Justus Held and 2006 Main Event Champion Jamie Gold have gone to battle in a couple of recent pots, with each holding on to sizable chip stacks.

In the first of two recent hands involving the two, Held raised preflop, making it 64,000 to go, and Gold called. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, Held bet 42,000, and Gold folded, showing {a-}{q-}.

"I got you beat," Held said. "I have the ace of diamonds."

"You didn't have me beat preflop," Gold replied, and Held agreed.

A couple of hands later Gold, Held and another opponent went three ways to a {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Gold bet 10,000 and got two calls. The turn came the {7-Diamonds}, and all three players checked.

Gold bet out for 40,000 on the {2-Clubs}, and got both opponent to fold. He showed {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for the bluff on the way to raking in the pot.
