Karam Kicks off the Day Right

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Fernando Karam and Luis Yepez both checked on a {k-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop, and on the {3-Diamonds} turn, Karam checked again from the small blind. Yepez bet 355,000 and got the call.

Karam then led out for 1,000,000 on the {j-Hearts} river, and Yepez went into the tank. Yepez's deep thought took long enough for the clock to be called, and with a floor person counting down Yepez made the call.

Karam showed {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} for the flopped set, taking down a big pot at the beginning of Day 4.

One table over, Cristian Castro became the day's first elimination.
