Hands #96-98: Betito Issued One-Round Penalty

Level 39 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Hands #96: Shalom Elharar raised to 2.3 million from the cutoff and Marco Guibert called from the big blind. When the flop came down {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Guibert checked and folded to a bet of 2.5 million.

Hand #97: Guibert limped the small blind and Fernando Karam checked his option. Both players checked the {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop and the {2-Clubs} appeared on the turn. Guibert bet 1.5 million and Karam called. On the {a-Clubs} river, Guibert bet 2.3 million and Karam called. Guibert tabled the {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and it was good as Karam mucked.

Hand #98: James Anderson raised to 2.3 million under the gun and Liran Betito called next to act. Karam came along from the small blind, as did Elharar in the big blind, and then all four players checked the {2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop. On the {j-Spades} turn, Karam checked, Elharar bet 2 million, and Anderson folded. The other two players called and the {q-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Karam bet 8 million, Elharar folded, and Betito called. Karam showed the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for the Broadway nuts and Betito also showed the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for the same hand. Since it was the nuts and he just called, Betito was issued a one-round penalty.
