Gambling is Allowed

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

A player in early position raised to 1,500 and got one caller before Mitchell Watson made it 10,000. When the action got back around to the original raiser he went all in for 26,000. The player who called in between folded and Watson made the call. "This is my one gamble hand." Watson said, as they both turned their cards over.

Watson: {q-}{2-}
Opponent: {a-}{k-}

The flop was not what Watson had in mind when it came out {j-}{j-}{4-}, but the {2-} on the turn put him in the lead.

The {6-} river was no help to his opponent and Watson collected the pot and got the knockout.

Shkolnik Gets a Gift

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

With only 11,500 in the pot and a flop reading {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}, a player in middle position went all in when checked to for effectively 52,000. The player in the big blind folded and Nick Shkolnik snap-called from under the gun.

Shkolnik: {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Shkolnik locked up the hand when the {5-Diamonds} came on the turn, and after the {2-Spades} fell on the river, Shkolnik collected a pot of over 100,000.

Martinez Turns Top Set to Get the Triple

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Jacob Martinez shoved his last 20,000 all in pre-flop after four other players had already committed 4,000. Martinez had his all in called by the player under the gun as well as the player in the hijack.

The flop came {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} and the action for the side pot began. Action checked to the player in the hijack who bet 6,000 and got called.

The {k-Clubs} turn saw the hijack go all in for his last 6,000 and get called. When the cards were turned over Martinez was in good shape to win the main pot and get the triple up.

Martinez: {k-}{k-}
Hijack: {10-}{10-}
Under the gun: {a-}{q-}

The river changed nothing when the {2-Hearts} hit and Martinez collected the almost 70,000 chip pot with kings for top set.
