Welcome to Day 1 of Event #78: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty
The 2019 Main Event is in full swing with Day 4 action getting underway, but there are still other events taking place before the end of the summer, one of which is Event #78: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty which kicks off today at 11 a.m. local time.
This tournament is a favorite for many players and draws a wide variety of people. If you knock someone out, a $500 bounty awaits.
Last year saw the inaugural event draw in a total 833 entries, and after a four-hour heads-up battle, Anderson Ireland emerged victorious taking home not only his first WSOP gold bracelet but also his first WSOP cash of $141,161.

This year all players begin the day with a stack of 25,000 compared to 7,500 from the inaugural event last year. Blinds start at 100/100 and there will be a total of ten 60-minute levels played on Day 1, with a 20-minute break coming at the end of every two levels. Players go on a 75-minute dinner break at the end of the sixth level of play.
Players are allowed one re-entry while late registration is open, giving them until the start of Level 9 to re-enter. Players will be able to redeem any bounties they are awarded after 10 p.m. local time.

Kellett Cracks Aces To Claim First Bounty

The player on the button raised pot to open the betting, and the small blind player three-bet pot. Action was then on Richard Kellett in the big blind who called before the initial raiser four-bet pot. The small blind player then re-raised and Kellett jammed, getting a fold from the player on the button. The small blind player called.

flop as he paired his two and picked up numerous outs with an open-ended straight draw to go along with a flush draw.

Trent Turns Full House to Collect Two Bounties

There was a huge pot brewing on a board showing 
that left three players all in that included Lawrence Trent who sat in the small blind and Ramali Kusnadi in middle position.

Each player hit the flop but Trent held the best hand with top set. Kusnadi held the wrap-around and would get there on the river, but it would be a case of too little too later because the 
turn sealed the deal for Trent. The board completed with the river and Trent eliminated both his opponents.
