Shak Shoves

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

In a heads up pot the dealer fanned the {10-Diamonds} on the river on a board that read {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

The small-blind player checked and Dan Shak then shoved all in for his last 13,500, which was a little more than the small-blind player had behind. After some thought the player sent his cards to the muck, which sent the pot to Shak.

Kisacikoglu Scores a Knock Out

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu sat in the small blind and he had 3,500 in front of him, just like the player in middle position. The player in the hijack was all in for his last 7,000 and Kisacikoglu jammed as well.

The player in middle position got out of the way and they opened up. Kisacikoglu was flipping with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} against the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} of his opponent.

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Kisacikoglu scored a knockout and added some chips to his stack.

The {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs} board was out there and there was 1,300 in the middle when Vojtech Ruzicka called a bet of 1,000 from his opponent Oliver Ruesing. Ruzicka then noticed there was 200 missing from the pot which was the big blind ante. The player in the big blind paid and the {8-Spades} river was dealt.

Ruesing bet another 2,500 from early position and Ruzicka thought about it on the button. He flicked in a call after a little while and Ruesing mucked his hand which caused Ruzicka to win the pot without showing his own cards.

Shimizu Stacking Early

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Action was picked up on the river on a board reading {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and about 10,000 already in the middle.

Takao Shimizu, first to act, put out a bet of 8,000, which sent the other player in the hand into the tank for over a minute. He finally made the call but groaned after Shimizu tabled {a-Spades}{8-Hearts} for the flopped two pair, which bested his {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and sent the sizable pot to Shimizu.
