Dibernardi Doubles Through Tureniec

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The flop fell {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, and Michael Tureniec checked from the small blind. David Dibernardi bet 43,000 from under the gun into the 100,000 chip pot, and Simon Burns raised to 110,000 from the cutoff.

Tureniec started to think and then moved all in for 700,000.

With the decision back on Dibernardi, he went into the tank sat with 370,000 but made the call a minute later.

Burns had a 700,000 stack behind him and looked unsure on what to do, but after close to 90 seconds passed, he folded.

Tureniec tabled {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for middle set, but saw Dibernardi table {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for top set.

The board ran out {9-Hearts} and {3-Spades}, and Dibernardi secured the full double.

Burns sighed and admitted he held the heart flush draw to the onlooking Patrick Leonard and missed out on a chance to score a double knockout.

Mackoff Correctly Folds a Flush

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jonas Mackoff raised to 26,000 from middle position, and Will Givens called from the cutoff before Dennis Brand three-bet to 87,000 from the big blind.

Mackoff called before Givens folded and the flop fell {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Both players checked, and after the {k-Clubs} hit the turn, Brand bet 75,000.

Mackoff called and saw the {q-Hearts} hit the river, which signaled Brand to move all in for around 500,000.

"I can beat a straight," said Mackoff with anguish on his face over the decision he had to make.

Mackoff studied the board for close to a minute before he made his mind up.

"Fold," said Mackoff, and tabled {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flush.

"Nice fold," said Brand and revealed {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for a full house.

Brand took in the pot to move up to 900,000, while Mackoff thanked Brand for showing his hand.

"Another 570,000," replied Mackoff.

Bedell then thought for 30 seconds from the hijack before he threw a calling chip into the middle.

"Flush Beats Straight"

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The flop was down {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}, and Patrick Leonard checked from the big blind.

Andras Nemeth bet 22,000 into a 75,000 pot, and Leonard called.

The {9-Spades} hit the turn and both players checked. Leonard checked again after seeing the {7-Spades} hit the river, and Nemeth checked behind to a showdown.

"Straight," said Nemeth and showed {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

"It's no good," replied and showed {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for the flush.

Leonard was all set to receive the pot, but the chips were accidentally pushed in Nemeth's direction.

"Whoa, flush beats a straight" joked Leonard and was awarded the pot at the second attempt.
