Jeff Gross's heater continues. A short stack moved all in under the gun with 385,000 and it folded to Gross in the small blind who isolated over the top.

completed board was out, Gross had the best of it and added another nice chunk right before the first break of the day.
When action folded around to Rex Clinkscales in the small blind he moved all in. Kristen Bicknell, who was in the big blind with a smaller stack, called and was all in.

Bicknell's king-high was good on the runout of 
and gave her some much-needed chips. Clinkscales was left with just over three big blinds.
This recent round of eliminations included the defending champion Joe Cada, who came into Day 2 with 10 big blinds and Phil Helmuth, who had an even shorter stack of seven big blinds.
From the button Robert Lipkin raised it to 60,000 and was called by Pete Males in the small blind. After Males check-called Lipkin's 45,000 bet on the 
flop, he then check-folded to a big bet of 150,000 on the 
turn, which sent the pot to Lipkin.
Jeff Gross has continued to have a great start to the day and has now built up a stack of almost two and a half million. The chips have come through a few hands, one of which Gross eliminated an opponent after opening 52,000 under the gun with ace-king and calling a 340,000 shove from a player on his left. Gross was around a 3:1 favorite against ace-jack and the 
board held for him.

Following his big laydown in the previous hand, Kyle Anderson faced an all in from Ray Qartomy, who had gotten short-stacked and jammed under the gun. Anderson made the call and no one else wanted to get involved and Qartomy was in big trouble with his tournament life at risk.

There was no eight to be found on the 
board and Qartomy had to say his goodbyes.
Martin Carnero had opened 55,000 in middle position and Kyle Anderson three-bet to 160,000. Back on Carnero and he four-bet all in for 550,000. Anderson gave it some thought before open folding 
and Carnero scooped the pot.
