Juhasz Fires Turn and River

Level 8 : 400/800, 0 ante

Action folded to the player in the cutoff who opened to 1,700. Benjamin Juhasz three-bet to 6,300 from the button and the cutoff called.

The flop came {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and both players checked. The turn fell {8-Clubs} and the cutoff checked again. Juhasz bet 9,600 and the cutoff called.

The river was {9-Clubs} and the cutoff checked to Juhasz once more, who fired 15,500 into the center. His opponent tossed his cards into the muck and he raked in the pot.

Level 7 : 300/600, 0 ante
Joe Hachem (pictured in another event)
Joe Hachem (pictured in another event)

Joe Hachem was last recorded as having a short stack and was recently eliminated by Adi Aizin. As recounted by Yueqi Zhu, Hachem was in the small blind with {k-Spades}{k-}{x-Spades}{x-}. His opponent, Adi Aizin, was in the big blind with {a-Spades}{q-}{x-}{x-} with ace-high spades to Hachem's king-high spades. The flop came out {8-Spades}{8-}{3-Spades} and both players proceeded to turn the nut- and second-nut flushes. When all was said and done, Hachem was eliminated and the pot was being sent Aizin's way.

"He Got Robbed" - Foxen Eliminated by Mizrachi

Level 7 : 300/600, 0 ante
Alex Foxen (pictured in another event)
Alex Foxen (pictured in another event)

Alex Foxen was seen exiting the tournament area and when inquired about it, Jeff Madsen and Robert Mizrachi both emphatically stated, "he got robbed!" They later said it wasn't by way of suck out and that it was a very fun and interesting hand that led to Foxen's departure.

Three players limped in preflop before Mizrachi raised 700 on top of the limp. Action went four ways to the flop {a-}{9-}{5-}-rainbow and everybody checked.

On the turn {j-Hearts}, a player bet 4,000 and Foxen called. Madsen got out of the way and Mizrachi raised to 21,000. The player who bet 4,000 folded and Foxen quickly committed the rest of his chips, which Mizrachi called.

Alex Foxen: {k-}{j-}{j-}{4-}
Robert Mizrachi: {a-}{a-}{q-}{10-}

Foxen hit the turn to make a set of jacks only to find himself at risk for his tournament life against Mizrachi's flopped top set of aces. He was unable to fill up on the river and Mizrachi now finds himself with a six-figure stack.

Danny Noam checked from the small blind and Veselim Korokithkol bet 4,000 from the big blind. Joao Vieira was in the cutoff and called. Noam folded.

The turn came {5-Diamonds} and both players checked. The river fell {a-Spades} and Korokithkol announced a bet of 17,500. After a few moments, Vieira folded and Korokithkol took down the pot.
