Trudeau Doubles Through Deeb

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Shaun Deeb raised to 12,500 from the hijack and big blind Jeffrey Trudeau called from the big blind.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Trudeau checked to Deeb who continued with a small bet of 8,000. Trudeau pushed all in for his last 37,500 and Deeb snap-called.

Jeffrey Trudeau: {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Shaun Deeb: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out with two deuces but that wasn't enough to eliminate Trudeau and he doubled up.

Reixach Takes From Foxen

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Sergi Reixach
Sergi Reixach

Sergi Reixach raised preflop from the under-the-gun position and Alex Foxen three-bet from the button to over 40,000. Reixach called to see the {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop appear on the board.

Reixach check-called a bet of 27,500 from Foxen on the flop and the {10-Clubs} was dealt. Both players checked and they did the same on the {5-Hearts} river.

Reixach was forced to show {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} but Foxen didn't have a club and couldn't beat him.

Chop-Chop

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The flop fell {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, and Eric Kurtzman checked from the big blind.

Andrey Pateychuk bet 32,000 from the cutoff, Gal Yifrach called on the button, and Kurtzman folded.

The {9-Clubs} hit the turn, and Pateychuk check-called a 40,000 bet from Yifrach.

The {2-Clubs} appeared on the river, and Pateychuk again check-called a bet from Yifrach, this time for 60,000.

Yifrach tabled {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for two pair, and Pateychuk matched him with {10-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a chop pot.

Deeb Continues to Rise

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Shaun Deeb's title defense seems to have some legs behind it as the American is currently playing a 710,000 stack.

The 2018 WSOP $10k 6-Max Championship winner entered the event at the start of play today, and has been able to spin up his 30 big blind stack.

Deeb is still sat with last year's runner-up Paul Volpe, as both players took to make a run towards the money places.

The board fell {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}, and Kahle Burns bet 150,000 from the big blind with around 175,000 in the pot.

Mustapha Kanit went into the tank on the button sat with 260,000 behind.

The Italian concentrated on the board and was literally scratching his head over the situation.

After close to 90 seconds had passed, Kanit folded, and despite his attempts, Burns was unwilling to reveal his hand.

Yurasov Gets a Shove Through

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Joao Simao raised to 14,000 from the hijack and small blind Dmitry Yurasov three-bet all in for about 85,000. It folded back to initial raiser Simao and he took his time. He needed to call for about 71,000 more which is close to 12 big blinds but that seemed too much for the Brazilian who let go of his hand.

Weinand Eliminated by Silver

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Peter Weinand raised to 18,000 from the cutoff and Max Silver three-bet to 56,000 from the button.

The decision made its way back to Weinand, and he moved all in for 220,000 which Silver snap-called.

Peter Weinand: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Max Silver: {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Weinand saw a safe flop fall, but the ace on the turn but Silver in control, and Weinand found no saving grace on the river.

The Canadian departed just short of the money spots and Silver moved up to 500,000.

Adams Eliminated by Goehring

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Alan Goehring raised and Brandon Adams three-bet all in. The action folded back to Goehring, and he called.

Alan Goehring: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Brandon Adams: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Board: {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Adams was in a flip for his tournament life, and saw his lead disapear on the flop. The turn and river cards also fell in Goehring's favor which meant Adams departed short of the money.

When the players return the action will be hand-for-hand.
