Wisehart Busts Thibodaux

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

A table move around Level 2 has been good for Butch Wisehart. The most recent boost to his stack came courtesy of an all-in preflop flip against shorter stacked Joshua Thibodaux.

Thibodaux: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Wisehart: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}...{6-Diamonds}...{q-Diamonds}, pairing Wisehart's queen to bust his opponent, who seemed unfazed.

"Good playing with you all," he said as he waited to be escorted to the cash desk. "Good luck."

Jones in a Massive Pot

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

A player under the gun went all in for 165,000 and got three calls, a player in middle position, the button and Craig Jones in the small blind, which created a side pot.

The flop was {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Jones moved all-in, the player in middle position folded but the button made the call putting Jones at risk for his tournament life as well.

Craig Jones: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and with that Jones eliminated a player and nearly tripled up in chips.

Dominating Hand Stays Ahead for Moore

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Megan Moore has busted an opponent with a stack close to hers, securing, when the blinds and ante are taken into account, a full double up. An under the gun opponent moved all in for 330,000, called by Moore on the button. Moore's {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} dominated her opponent's {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} but there was a sweat on the turn, as the board stood {2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Moore said, "Hold!" and did so as the river came down the {5-Spades}.

Chamorro Hits Quad Kings

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Sebastien Chamorro
Sebastien Chamorro

When an opponent with around 440,000 moved all-in preflop, big blind Sebastian Chamorro at first appeared to think he'd been given a walk, but immediately called when he saw the bet, tabling {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. His opponent held {a-Spades}{4-Clubs} and flopped an ace - but Chamorro both flopped and turned a king for quads.

"Yes!" he said, "Oh my God. Oh my God!" and proceeded to express similar excitement to his neighbour in French.

Eric Holt Spikes Three-Outer

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Eric Holt started the Day with a respectable 600,000 chips, but now wields a top ten stack (see below). The most recent 260,000 he absorbed came at the expense of an opponent on the button who three-bet all in over the top of Holt's mid-position open. Holt, already on around 1,200,000, made the call with {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

"You got me," he said, when he saw his opponent's {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. But who got whom was about to be flipped. The board came down {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades} and the field loses another to a bad beat.
