Sorrentino Turns Two Pair

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The action folded around to Raffaele Sorrentino in the cutoff who raised to 2,700, Stephen Burns called on the button and the small blind called as well.

The flop came {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, both players checked to Burns who bet out 4,500, the small blind folded and Sorrentino called.

The turn {a-Hearts} and the river {3-Spades} both got checked through, and before the two hands were tabled Burns said, "1000% I flopped the best hand." Stephen Burns tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a flopped two pair, but was shown the bad news when Sorrentino tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a better two pair.
