Kirsch Fades With Aces, More Than Doubles

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Daniel Kirsch opened the action with a raise from middle position to 100,000. Robin Hegele shoved all in from the cutoff for 475,000 and Mario Navarro cold four-bet all in over the top of both players from the small blind. Kirsch quickly called off his 1.175 million and the three hands were tabled.

Daniel Kirsch: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Robin Hegele: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Mario Navarro: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Kirsch was in pole position for more than a double as the dealer burned the first card and began to count out three cards onto the felt. Those three cards were then turned over and fanned out to show {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}, giving Navarro the nut flush draw and Hegele outs to a backdoor straight.

The turn {5-Hearts} added more drama bringing direct outs to the gutshot straight draw for Hegele to take the main pot and triple. However, the river fell {j-Clubs} and Kirsch was able to breathe a sigh of relief as he collected Hegele's stack and had his own counted out to be matched at the expense of Navarro.
