Hands #29-31: Gates Takes From Ensan

Level 38 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Hand #29: Alex Livingston limped in from the small blind and Hossein Ensan checked his option from the big blind. On the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop, Livingston check-called a bet of 1,200,000 and the {8-Spades} followed on the turn. Both players checked the {6-Hearts} river and Livingston won the pot with the {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Hand #30: Garry Gates opened to 3,500,000 from the cutoff and picked up a call by Ensan in the small blind, Nick Marchington in the big blind reluctantly folded. On the {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, Ensan checked and Gates continued for 3,300,000. Ensan called and the {9-Clubs} turn was checked by him once more, this time Gates checked back.

After the {j-Diamonds} river, both checked once more and Ensan tabled the {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for a pair of deuces. Gates had that beat with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and his rail started chants as Gates reduced the gap to Ensan at the top of the counts to 22 big blinds.

Hand #31: Garry Gates raised to 2,800,000 from the hijack and won the pot uncontested.
