Efland Two Pair Makes Two Times the Stack

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Zachary Efland: {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Vincent Gourlaouen: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The deatils leading up to this showdown are unclear, but Zachary Efland doubled up through Vincent Gourlaouen on a {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} board, with the flopped two pair holding up through the river.

Gourlaouen was on the button, with Efland on the small blind, and the double gets Efland back up over the 60,000 chip mark as Level 3 winds down.

Bock Busts to Schulz

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Joining the action on the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, Gregory Bock made it 3,000 to go and Robert Schulz called to see the {8-Clubs} on the river. Bock now fired a bet of 4,000 and Schulz raised to 16,200 after some consideration.

Bock pushed all in for some more and Schulz essentially beat him into the pot, rolled over {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for the nut straight. Bock tabled his {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for two pair and immediately left the tournament area.

Riordan Goes Big on the River

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Chris "The Armenian Express" Grigorian opened to 1,000 in middle position and John Riordan defended from the big blind. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Riordan check-called a bet of 1,400 from Grigorian, amidst a flurry of table chatter.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Grigorian was out of his seat at this point. Riordan checked again and Grigorian checked it back, stating "Too much distraction. I have to check."

The river brought the {k-Clubs} and Riordan checked for the third time. Grigorian made a small bet of 1,000. "Let's see if you have a club," he said. Riordan responded with a big check-raise to 20,000 and Grigorian got his answer. "Ahh, you do have a club. Too big of a raise. A little smaller and I would have called." Grigorian sent his cards to the muck and Riordan moved over 200,000 chips.

Trofimov Bets Pot

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

[Removed:510] was in a hand with Neal Liptak just now and action was on the turn with {6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades} out and 7,500 in the middle.

Liptak checked to Trofimov who bet 7,000 and the pot-sized bet gave the American something to think about. He went into the tank and it looked like he was close to making a call, counting out the chips needed but in the end he thought better of it and laid it down.
