Sandler Wins from Ropert

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

The player in the cutoff raised to 1,000 and he was called by Corentin Ropert on the button and big blind Jared Sandler.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and all three players checked. It checked to Ropert again on the {10-Diamonds} turn and he put in a bet of 1,800. Sandler called and the initial raiser got out of the way.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and both players checked. Sandler showed {a-Spades}{3-Clubs} and that was enough to win the pot.

Bouares Turns the Best to Triple Up

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a flop of {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, three players were still in the hand and what an action flop it was. Dennis Grizzle checked from the big blind and Farid Bouares tossed in a bet of 2,500 from the hijack. Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault just called from the cutoff and Grizzle check-raised to 7,000.

Bouares called and Carpentier-Perrault jammed all in, having both of his opponents covered. Grizzle stuck in the last of his 31,500 chips and Bouares also went all in for 13,700.

Farid Bouares: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Dennis Grizzle: {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Carpentier-Perrault flopped the best hand with a set of tens but wasn't out of the woods just yet. In fact, the {a-Hearts} landed on the turn to improve Bouares to the best hand. The {4-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and Bouares found a triple up. On the side pot, Carpentier-Perrault made most of his chips back by eliminating Grizzle.

River Raise Good For Vaughan

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

With 3,200 in the pot, action checked down to the river of a {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} board, where the small blind bet 2,500 into Matt Vaughan in the big blind.

Vaughan took his time before raising to 12,500, and his opponent raised a brow at Vaughan, but ultimately folded.

Hinkle Ships on the River

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Blair Hinkle was in the big blind and heads-up with an opponent on the button. The flop of {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} was spread across the felt and Hinkle led out for 1,500. His opponent called and the {5-Spades} hit the turn.

Hinkle fired out another bet of 3,700 and his opponent still called to see the {j-Hearts} on the river. Hinkle pushed all in for 8,400 and his opponent thought for a minute but decided to let his hand go.

Dickerson Eliminates Opponent to Contest for Chiplead

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Geramy Dickerson
Geramy Dickerson

Geramy Dickerson is sat with one of, most likely the biggest stack in the field to date. In an incredible run, Dickerson has amassed more than four times what he started the day with, and players are not long into Level 3.

He eliminated an opponent just now after they got it all in on the turn with {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} on the board. When the cards were turned over, Dickerson needed to hit, holding a two-way draw with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} against his opponent's set of {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. The {q-Clubs} river made Broadway for Dickerson and a big pile of chips went his way, whilst his opponent exited early.

Sixes-Full for Kroon

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Mark Kroon opened the button to 1,100 and the big blind called.

The {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} board checked through to the river where the big blind bet 1,600 and Kroon snap-called.

The big blind announced a king, and Kroon revealed his {8-Hearts}{6-Spades} for sixes-full.

"I'll Quit Poker if You had Pocket Nines"

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

An interesting hand was developing at Table 83 in the Brasilia Room between Keith Lehr and Timothy O'Dell. A board of {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} laid on the table and the two players began a raising war to see who could represent the fourth ten in the deck.

O'Dell had a bet in front of him and Lehr check-raised to 6,400. O'Dell responded with a three-bet to 12,400 but Lehr stuck in a four-bet to 26,500. O'Dell just called and the {2-Diamonds} completed the board.

Lehr checked this time and O'Dell flicked in a bet of 25,000. Lehr instantly folded and O'Dell claimed the pot.

"I can't beat four tens," Lehr said.

"You could try," one player at the table piped up.

"I had pocket nines," O'Dell chimed in.

"Pocket nines," Lehr laughed sarcastically. "I'll quit poker if you had pocket nines. Maybe ten-nine suited."
