Five in a Row for Addamo Before Peters Catches

Level 2 : 12,800/25,600, 0 ante
The final: Peters vs Addamo
The final: Peters vs Addamo

Michael Addamo has extended his early lead over David Peters by winning five pots in a row, all uncontested.

In the next hand, Addamo tried for another non-showdown win holding nothing but a mere {4-Spades}{2-Hearts} on a {k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Clubs} board.

Addamo bet 25,600 on the flop, 67,854 on the turn, and 156,795 on the river, but Peters check-called three streets with {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} to gain some of the earlier lost chips back.

Addamo Wins in Early Stages

Level 1 : 9,600/19,200, 0 ante

No rest for David Peters as cards for the final went in the air directly after eliminating Alyssa MacDonald. In the first few hands, the scrimmage between the pair was limited with Addamo winning the only pot that went beyond a few big blinds.

In that hand, Peters bet 24,000 on the {j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Addamo check-raised to 96,000 and Peters called. After the {a-Clubs} got checked around on the turn, Addamo flicked in 95,040 on the {5-Spades} river and Peters looked him up with {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for fifth pair nut kicker. Addamo had {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} for second pair, enough to take it down.

Alyssa MacDonald Eliminated in Semifinals ($124,160); David Peters Advances

Alyssa MacDonald
Alyssa MacDonald

In a three-bet pot between Alyssa MacDonald and David Peters, a {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop appeared with MacDonald first to act. She bet 177,408 and Peters called in position.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and MacDonald fired a second shell worth 390,498, leaving herself with 661,442 behind. Peters followed with another call to see the {9-Clubs} roll off on the river.

MacDonald checked and Peters moved all in for MacDonalds remaining stack. The Canadian streamer tanked for a long while before calling it off with {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top set. Peters, however, had rivered a straight with {j-Spades}{10-Spades} and advanced to the finals.

On the {k-Hearts} turn, MacDonald bet 164,736 and Peters called after some thought. Two more checks followed on the {8-Spades} river.

Peters Widens the Gap

While the majority of pots between Alyssa MacDonald and David Peters have remained on the small side, it's been Peters who's been collecting the lion's share of them, including the biggest one of the past level.

In that hand, it was MacDonald who raised to 96,000 and Peters defended. The {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop and {9-Clubs} turn got checked by both players. Peters bet 192,000 on the {5-Hearts} river and received a call.

The American turned over {7-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a rivered two pair and MacDonald mucked her {10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.
