Madan Binks the Flop to Double

Level 38 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Bradley "DrStrange7" Ruben won the first hands after coming back from the break but all the profit vanished into thin air when he clashed with table neighbor Naman "pokermafiaa" Madan.

Ruben opened to 420,000 on the button, Madan three-bet the pot to 1.46 million in the small blind and then called all-in when Ruben four-bet.

Naman "pokermafiaa" Madan: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Bradley "DrStrange7" Ruben: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Madan needed help and got exactly that on the {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop as he instantly improved to a wheel. The {q-Spades} turn secured the double and a meaningless {2-Hearts} river completed the board.

Break With Five Remaining

Level 38 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

The remaining hands at the current level until the scheduled six-minute break brought no further major action as Jens "Tankanza" Lakemeier cemented his spot behind chip leader Bradley "DrStrange7" Ruben.

Sami "YrttiDekaani" Kelopuro Eliminated in 6th Place ($46,727)

Level 37 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Sami Kelopuro
Sami Kelopuro

Sami "YrttiDekaani" Kelopuro made it 560,000 to go from the hijack and Blaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Zerjav three-bet the pot to 1.92 million from one seat over. Back on Kelopuro, the Finnish high stakes player moved all in for another 1,344,671 on top of his raise and Zerjav snap-called.

Sami "YrttiDekaani" Kelopuro: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Blaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Zerjav: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Kelopuro had two chances to hit a set but instead if was Zerjav that hit the {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop. It was all over on the {6-Diamonds} turn and the {a-Hearts} river officially ended the run of Kelopuro in 6th place for $46,727.14.

Ruben Catches Heat Against Zerjav

Level 37 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Bradley "DrStrange7" Ruben opened to 336,000 in the hijack and was called by Blaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Zerjav out of the big blind. Zerjav check-raised the {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop to 1.232 million and Ruben came along to then see the {6-Diamonds} turn. Zerjav checked and folded to a shove.

Two hands later both tangled again as Ruben check-called the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop, they checked the {8-Clubs} turn and Ruben's bet on the {2-Hearts} river for 384,000 resulted in a fold.

Sami "YrttiDekaani" Kelopuro made it 368,000 to go from under the gun and was then three-bet to 1.344 million by Bradley "DrStrange7" Ruben on the button. Kelopuro gave it some thought and four-bet, as Ruben called all-in for less.

Sami "YrttiDekaani" Kelopuro: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Bradley "DrStrange7" Ruben: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

On a board of {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, Ruben flopped a set and rivered a full house to double.

Back to Small Pots

Level 37 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Only two pots above a million appeared and Jens "Tankanza" Lakemeier chipped up without showdown when he three-bet an open raise by Sami "YrttiDekaani" Kelopuro and a cold-call by Blaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Zerjav from one seat over.

A dozen hands in the new level have now passed as the chip lead has switched back to Zerjav, however, it is a rather narrow one and can vanish in one three-bet pot.

Eldabach Wins Without Showdown

Level 37 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Dorel "DorelEl" Eldabach min-raised to 320,000 in the very first hand of the new level and was called by Bradley "DrStrange7" Ruben in the big blind.

There was no betting action on the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop and Ruben then led the {9-Spades} turn for 540,000, which Eldabach called. On the {a-Hearts} river, Ruben checked and Eldabach made it 1,000,001 to go which resulted in an instant fold from Ruben.

Madan Chips Up Through Azerjav

Level 36 : 70,000/140,000, 0 ante

Naman "pokermafiaa" Madan min-raised from the hijack and Blaaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Azerjav came along out of the small blind to see a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, which both players checked. Azerjav bet the {10-Clubs} turn for 490,000 and picked up a call to then check-call the {4-Spades} river for 280,000.

Madan turned over {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a straight and Azerjav's {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} for trips tens was no good.
