Azerjav Doubles Through Gerrits

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

In a three-way limped pot to the {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Martijn "visacard" Gerrits in the small blind and Blaaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Azerjav in the big blind clashed with the latter as the player at risk.

Blaaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Azerjav: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Martijn "visacard" Gerrits: {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The {j-Clubs} turn and the {a-Diamonds} river kept Azerjav in contention on his first bullet but he remains below the starting stack.

More Early Bustouts

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Nearly 30 players have already been eliminated as the tournament lobby shows 337 players out of 364 entries remaining. Flying the Mexican flag, "anti-cheese" is already down on the second bullet.

Negreanu Chips Up Early

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Daniel Negreanu won four pots in a row and the last one came against Robert Romanello who defended the big blind against a button raise to 750. Romanello check-called two bets on the {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and the {10-Spades} turn, they then checked the {3-Hearts} river.

Romanello tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} for a busted straight and flush draw which made a pair of treys. Negreanu held {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades} for top set.

Timmis Doubles

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
A Double for Timmis
A Double for Timmis

Craig Timmis battles with Julijan "Grgur" Rados as both had already met on a PLO final table earlier in the series and the Brit had taken an early hit. However, just before the blinds went up Timmis earned a double to jump back above the starting stack as he got it in after the {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} turn against Afon-Hedd "GarfsLasagne" Morris.

Craig Timmis: {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Afon-Hedd "GarfsLasagne" Morris: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}

The {9-Hearts} on the river was a blank and Timmis doubled, he then won another pot of 3,000 with a jack-high straight.

Some Early Casualties

Level 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Yuri Dzivielevski was among those to bust but will very likely be back in action soon. Dorian "Gladiador20" Rios has already busted and jumped back into the action on the second bullet.

Nazarenko Out and Back In

Level 1 : 100/200, 0 ante
Y0UWILLLOSE Busts One
Y0UWILLLOSE Busts One

Ruslan "zverrmvp" Nazarenko and Endrit "Y0UWILLLOSE" Geci clashed in a table that also features Roberto Romanello, Daniel Negreanu and Shyngis "somebodyelse" Satubayev.

Endrit "Y0UWILLLOSE" Geci: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Ruslan "zverrmvp" Nazarenko: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Geci got there with running clubs, Nazarenko re-entered shortly after.

Two players busted in the opening minutes and among them was Fausto "Fantastik55" Tantillo, who got his stack in against Anson "Tara@Oz" Tsang. They already had 12,900 chips into the middle on the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop when the remainder went in as follows.

Fausto "Fantastik55" Tantillo: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
